[03-18-2023] One Killed, Four Injured After Two-Vehicle Collision in FlorinOne person was killed while four others were injured after a two-vehicle crash in Florin, south of Sacramento, on Saturday morning, March 18, 2023.

According to the Sacramento Metro Fire, the fatal collision occurred at about 3:36 a.m. at the intersection of Florin Road and Stockton Boulevard.

The responding firefighters arrived at the scene to discover two vehicles with significant damages. What exactly led to the crash is currently unknown.

There were five victims involved. One of them was declared dead on the spot, while the remaining four were taken to a nearby trauma center with various degrees of injuries.

No further details were released on the victims’ identities as the investigation continued. Authorities are still looking into whether intoxication or speeding played a role.
