[03-23-2023] One Person Hospitalized After Multi-Vehicle Collision Along South AvenueOne person was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision occurred along South Avenue, Tehama County, on Thursday morning, March 23, 2023.

According to the CAL FIRE Tehama-Glenn Unit, the crash happened around 8:00 a.m. between South Avenue and Mary Avenue.

The California Highway Patrol Red Bluff reported that three vehicles were involved.

A Chevrolet and a Jeep were driving along South Avenue when both vehicles swerved. The driver of the Chevrolet, a 19-year-old named Jonathan R., struck a Mitsubishi, and the Jeep was hit by debris.

The driver of the Mitsubishi, a 21-year-old named Cristoval R., sustained moderate injuries and had to be hospitalized.

Jonathan R. sustained minor injuries while the Jeep’s driver, a 43-year-old named Lorena S., was unharmed.
