[05-01-2022] Two People Critically Injured in Motorcycle Crash Near Point Reyes LighthouseTwo people were airlifted from a motorcycle accident in Marin County on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

Local authorities responded to the crash around 5:30 p.m. near the Point Reyes Lighthouse.

According to the CHP’s Golden Gate Division Air Operations, the H-30 helicopter crew, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Henry-1 helicopter crew, the Marin County Fire Department, and the Inverness Fire Department responded to a report of two motorcyclists down near the lighthouse on Sunday afternoon.

Each helicopter crew transported a critically injured patient to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

There are no other details available.

The Marin Division of the California Highway Patrol was investigating the accident.
