[05-04-2023] Old Pedestrian Killed in a Hit-and-Run in Manchester Square, Los Angeles CityA 72-year-old man was killed in a hit-and-run, possibly by a motorcycle, in Manchester Square, Los Angeles, late Thursday night, May 04, 2023.

The Los Angeles Police Department reported that at Western Avenue and 79th Street in the Manchester Square neighborhood at around 11:50 p.m., an old pedestrian was hit by a vehicle, possibly a motorcycle.

The driver did not stop and headed south on Western Avenue. The unidentified man was taken to the local hospital but could not survive his injuries.

Whether alcohol or drugs were a factor is still under investigation.
