[05-16-2023] Sonoma County, CA – One Person Killed, Another Severely Injured After Two-Vehicle Head-on Collision at Arnold Drive

44-year-old Stacey W. was killed, and a 32-year-old Sonoma resident was injured after a two-vehicle head-on collision in Sonoma Valley Tuesday night, May 16, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they received a report regarding the crash at 7:25 p.m., north of Leveroni Road, at Arnold Drive.

A preliminary investigation by the authorities revealed that Woienski drove her 2003 Chevy Silverado pickup truck southbound on Arnold Drive and crossed the double lines. After that, her vehicle crashed head-on with the Ford Ranger pickup truck in the northbound lane.

She sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Sonoma resident driving the Ford Ranger was airlifted to Providence Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.

The road was blocked for three hours while the fatal collision was investigated.

Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
