[05-18-2023] Two Drivers Hospitalized Following Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig Along Highway 395Two drivers were hospitalized following a multi-vehicle crash involving a big rig along Highway 395, Lassen County, on Thursday afternoon, May 18, 2023.

The California Highway Patrol reported that the crash happened around 12:10 p.m. along Highway 395, south of County Road A 25.

Five vehicles were involved, including a 2018 Peterbilt driven by Austin L., who struck two drivers named Amarie W. and Sara W., who both suffered minor and moderate injuries.

Two more drivers, Matthew B. and Mindy D., were struck while riding their 2018 Subaru Outback and 2018 Hyundai Sonata.

The two injured victims were each taken to Renown Medical Center and Banner Lassen Medical Center. The authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
