[04-27-2021] Kern County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed After a Multi-Vehicle Crash in Bakersfield

An unidentified motorcyclist was killed after a multi-vehicle traffic collision in Bakersfield on Tuesday morning, April 27.

The accident happened on the southbound side of Highway 99 near Rosedale Highway at approximately 6:29 p.m.

A motorcycle, a semi-truck, and a box truck were reportedly involved in the collision.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened has not been established.

The motorcyclist was reportedly splitting lanes before the accident. The motorcycle rider sustained fatal injuries from the accident. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
