[04-14-2021] Kern County, CA – One Person Killed After a Fatal Head-On Collision in Ridgecrest

One person was killed after a fatal head-on collision in Ridgecrest on Thursday morning, April 14.

The accident took place on Highway 14, just south of the Highway 178 West intersection, at approximately 6:45 a.m. A white pickup truck and a big rig collided head-on at the intersection.

How the collision occurred, and the reason why it happened is currently unclear. One person was killed as a result of the accident.
