[12-23-2020] Los Angeles, CA – One Killed After a Pedestrian Accident in Long Beach

An unidentified woman was killed after getting hit by a passing vehicle in Long Beach on Wednesday night, December 23.

According to the local authorities’ initial reports, the accident took place in the 300 block of East Wardlow Road at approximately 10:30 p.m.

The woman was walking on an unmarked crosswalk when an unspecified vehicle suddenly struck her. The reason why the car was unable to avoid her is currently unclear.

The woman sustained life-threatening injuries from the accident and was taken to an area hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
