One unidentified person was killed after a major multi-vehicle collision in Monrovia on Wednesday afternoon, June 22.

Multiple vehicles collided on the roadway for unclear reasons. The circumstances leading up to the collision have not been established.

A truck was reportedly smashed into the side of a smaller vehicle with a Girl Scouts logo. Debris was scattered all over the roadway in the aftermath of the crash. The eastbound side of 210 Freeway was blocked with cars backing up for at least four miles following the collision.

One person was killed as a result of the crash. The identities of the involved parties have not been disclosed. Information about the accident is limited at the moment. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the collision.
