[10-05-2020] San Diego, CA – One Man Injured After a Pedestrian Accident on G Street

An unidentified 70-year-old male pedestrian was injured after getting hit by a vehicle in San Diego on Monday afternoon, October 5.

The accident happened at around 3:00 p.m. on G Street near Third Avenue. A vehicle was reportedly pulling out of a parking space, near Horton Plaza, when it suddenly struck the male pedestrian.

The pedestrian was attempting to cross the street at the time of the accident. The victim sustained major injuries as a result of the accident. He was immediately taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

It is unclear why the driver crashed into the older man. No arrests have been made at the moment.
