[11-27-2025] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck on Marconi Avenue Near Burnece Street in Arden-Arcade

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Marconi Avenue just west of Burnece Street in Arden-Arcade, Sacramento County, on Thursday afternoon, November 27, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, crews responded before 2:00 p.m. and learned that a woman was crossing Marconi Avenue from north to south when she was hit by a Toyota.

She suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead. CHP traffic logs indicated the woman had been walking a dog at the time, though it was unclear what happened to the animal.

Officials said DUI was not suspected. Additional details about the collision have not yet been released.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
