[03-24-2026] San Luis Obispo County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Collision with Car on Broad St.

A motorcyclist died after a collision with a car in San Luis Obispo on Tuesday morning, March 24, 2026.

According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the crash occurred just before 9:00 a.m. when a motorcyclist traveling southbound on Broad Street collided with a vehicle turning left from the northbound lanes onto Caudill Street.

The motorcyclist suffered major injuries and was transported to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. His identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. No suspicion of impaired driving was reported.
