A 25-year-old man identified as Hugo Gonzalez M. was killed after a fatal motorcycle accident involving a big rig in Long Beach on Friday morning, June 4th.

Martinez, who was riding his 2007 Kawasaki motorcycle eastbound, was suddenly ejected from his motorcycle for unclear reasons.

He then rolled into the number three lane where a 2011 Freightliner struck him. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the big rig was not injured.

The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the case.
