[01-21-2026] Stanislaus County, CA – Child Injured After Being Struck by Vehicle While Riding Bicycle in West Modesto

A child was injured after being hit by a vehicle while riding a bicycle in West Modesto on Wednesday evening, January 21, 2026.

According to the Modesto Fire Department, crews responded around 7:18 p.m. to the 200 block of Roselawn Avenue following reports of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, first responders found the child suffering from a minor injury after the bicycle’s front tire was struck.

Emergency personnel provided advanced life support care on scene before transporting the child to a local trauma center for evaluation.

The Modesto Police Department confirmed they are investigating the incident. No further details about the vehicle or driver have been released at this time.
