A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu on Monday night, February 2, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident occurred at around 7:30 p.m. near Winding Way.

Authorities stated that the driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.

Officials indicated that drugs, alcohol, and speeding were not believed to be factors in the incident.

The incident remains under investigation.
