[02-22-2026] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Toyota Camry in Huntington Beach

A 58-year-old man was killed after being struck by a Toyota Camry on Beach Boulevard in Huntington Beach on Sunday evening, February 22, 2026.

According to Huntington Beach Police, officers were called to the scene at around 6:30 p.m. on Beach Boulevard and Williams Drive.

Upon arrival, officers found the pedestrian unconscious in the roadway. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Investigators determined the Toyota Camry was traveling southbound on Beach Boulevard and struck the pedestrian north of the intersection near Williams Drive.

The driver, a 68-year-old Huntington Beach man, remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police stated that impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The investigation remains ongoing.
