A 37-year-old man was killed after being struck by a suspected DUI driver in downtown Los Angeles early Thursday morning, February 26, 2026.
Los Angeles police officers responded to the scene near 9th Street and Towne Avenue around 2:10 a.m., where they found the victim with fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Orlando L., was driving a Nissan Kicks when he struck the pedestrian. He was located by officers and arrested on suspicion of felony DUI.
No further details were released, and the incident remains under investigation.
