If you are able, follow the guidelines below:
- Prioritize Your Health
Your safety comes first. Check yourself and others for injuries. If anyone is hurt, call 911 immediately to get medical assistance. Even if you feel fine, it’s important to see a doctor. Some injuries may not show symptoms right away, but can become serious over time. - Move To A Safe Area
If possible, move your vehicle to the side of the road to avoid further collisions and reduce traffic hazards. Turn on your hazard lights to alert other drivers. Do not leave the scene, as doing so could result in legal consequences for a hit-and-run. - Gather Evidence At The Scene
Take clear photos and videos of the vehicles, visible injuries, skid marks, and the overall accident scene. This includes road signs, signals, or weather conditions that may have contributed to the crash. If there are any witnesses, ask for their contact information and encourage them to speak with the police. - Contact Arash Law
