An 11-year-old girl suffered a broken leg, and an adult man reported neck pain following a two-vehicle crash in south Sacramento on Wednesday morning, May 14, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Fire and Police Departments, the collision occurred shortly after 8:00 a.m. at the intersection of Fruitridge Road and Monterey Way.
Authorities confirmed that two vehicles were involved in the crash. Emergency responders treated the young girl for a broken leg and evaluated the man, who complained of neck pain.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by local authorities.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, motor vehicle crash fatalities on U.S. roadways declined by 1.7%.
