[08-17-2025] Orange County, CA – Teen Girl Killed, Several Injured in Suspected DUI Crash in Huntington Beach

A 15-year-old girl died following a suspected DUI crash involving three vehicles in Huntington Beach on Sunday evening, August 17, 2025.

The collision occurred just before 8:15 p.m. near the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Beach Boulevard, according to the Huntington Beach Police Department.

Authorities reported that a westbound Honda Accord, driven by a 44-year-old woman from Santa Ana, crossed the center divider and struck a Lexus RX head-on. At some point, one of the vehicles also collided with a Lexus GS.

The driver of the Honda sustained major injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital. Police stated that impairment is suspected. Two 15-year-old girls were passengers in the Accord; one, a Westminster resident, died at the hospital, while the other is expected to survive.

The driver of the Lexus RX, a 23-year-old woman from Westminster, and the driver of the Lexus GS, a 75-year-old man from Santa Ana, both suffered minor injuries.
