A man in his 70s was killed after being struck by an SUV in Tulare on Monday night, September 9, 2024.
The incident occurred around 7:45 p.m. near the intersection of Bardsley and Blackstone. Tulare police confirmed that the victim died at the scene.
Authorities stated that the driver of the SUV did not see the pedestrian before the crash. The driver called for help and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.
