[10-16-2025] Kern County, CA โ€“ Two Killed, One Hospitalized After Rollover Crash on Woollomes Avenue in Delano

Two people were killed and one person was hospitalized after a solo-vehicle rollover crash on Woollomes Avenue west of Wallace Road in Delano early Thursday morning, October 16, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 12:28 a.m. on Woollomes Avenue west of Wallace Road.

A 21-year-old man was driving a 2017 black Acura ILX eastbound at an undetermined high rate of speed when, for reasons under investigation, the vehicle veered in a northeasterly direction and left the roadway. The Acura struck several large metal poles and a wooden power pole on the north dirt shoulder, sustaining major damage.

CHP said the driver, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The front passenger, identified as 19-year-old Andru F. of Delano, also suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. A 19-year-old woman seated in the back was transported to Kern Medical with injuries.

CHP stated that it is unknown whether alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
