[10-19-2025] Alameda County, CA โ€“ Motorcyclist Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-80 Near Powell Street in Emeryville

A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a Honda VT motorcycle, Toyota Prius, Tesla Model S, and Subaru Crosstrek in Emeryville on Sunday afternoon, October 19, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers were called to the scene around 2:40 p.m. on eastbound I-80 near Powell Street.

The crash resulted in a fatality, and the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. All other motorists involved in the collision remained on site and cooperated with authorities.

Drugs and alcohol are not believed to be factors in the crash. The investigation is ongoing.
