Three people were injured, including one critically, following a head-on collision on Highway 154 near San Antonio Creek in Santa Barbara County on Thursday morning, May 1, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 6:53 a.m. and involved a pickup truck and a small SUV.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in a vehicle.
The individual who was extricated sustained critical injuries, while two others suffered moderate injuries. All three were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
