A pedestrian was struck and killed in a vehicle crash on State Route 160 in Sacramento County on Wednesday afternoon, November 19, 2025.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the pedestrian was walking across the lanes on northbound SR-160 north of Royal Oaks when a vehicle crashed into the pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
Currently, the driver is not suspected of DUI.
The CHP incident log showed that all lanes were open and ready for traffic as of 2:15 p.m. No information about the pedestrian has been released.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
