[04-21-2025] Sacramento County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Collision with Vehicle on Madison Ave. Near Jackson St.

A bicyclist died after being involved in a collision with a vehicle in Sacramento County on Monday evening, April 21, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol North Sacramento, the crash occurred around 9:00 p.m. on Madison Avenue near Jackson Street.

Officials stated that the cyclist was transported to a hospital, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

CHP reported that the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities. Investigators also indicated that drugs and alcohol are not believed to have played a role on the part of the driver.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
