A motorcycle rider was killed in a crash involving another rider and a third vehicle on the Pines to Palms Highway in Taylor, south of Palm Springs, on Saturday afternoon, June 6, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 3:13 p.m. on the Pines to Palms (Highway 74) near Carrizo Road.
Authorities stated that a witness reported one motorcycle had gone off the road and down an embankment. The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s name, age, and gender have not been released.
It is unclear if there were additional injuries in the crash. The investigation remains ongoing.
