[10-19-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Four Injured After Multi-Vehicle Crash Involving Big Rig in Elk Grove

Four people were injured, including one with major injuries, in a multi-vehicle collision involving a big rig in Elk Grove on Monday night, October 19, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred on southbound Highway 99, south of Laguna Boulevard.

The Cosumnes Fire Department said four vehicles and a big rig were involved. Four people were transported to a hospital. One sustained major injuries, while the other three suffered minor injuries.

No further details were immediately available. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
