[11-05-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – Three Injured, Including Two Children, in Suspected DUI Collision in Hesperia

Three people, including two children, sustained injuries in a head-on collision involving a suspected intoxicated driver in Hesperia on Thursday evening, November 5, 2026.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the two-vehicle crash occurred at around 5:55 p.m. on Hesperia Road near Mesa Street.

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Gloria Orejel said a Nissan Altima was traveling northbound when its driver struck a stopped Kia head-on.

Authorities reported that four people were inside the Kia. Three occupants, including two children, were transported to a hospital following the collision.

Orejel said the Nissan driver was intoxicated and had been detained by authorities.

Additional details about the victims’ injuries and the detained driver were not immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
