An unidentified Las Vegas man was killed after a deadly multi-vehicle traffic collision in Santa Monica on Saturday evening, August 14.

[08-14-2021] Los Angeles County, CA - Multi-Vehicle Collision in Santa Monice Kills One ManThe deadly accident transpired at approximately 5:46 p.m. on Santa Monica 10 Freeway at McClure Tunnel. A 2015 Land Rover driven by the Las Vegas man was traveling at high speeds on the roadway. He then collided with a 2021 Tesla and a 2009 Infiniti.

This then caused a chain-reaction crash and prompted Infiniti to crash into a 2016 Dodge. The Land Rover then reportedly crashed into a 2019 Kia and overturned before colliding with a 2018 Jeep, which caused the Jeep to collide with a Honda and a Toyota. Unfortunately, the Las Vegas man was fatally injured in the mishap. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meanwhile, three others sustained varying degrees of injuries. One of them was critically injured and was immediately taken to an area hospital for treatment. The other two sustained minor injuries. One was treated at the scene and released.

Information about the accident is limited at the moment. It’s unclear whether drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision. The case is currently under further investigation.
