[01-03-2022] Cumberland County, N.C. - Motorcyclist Shot and Killed in a Fatal Road Rage Incident in FayettevilleAn unidentified motorcyclist was killed after a deadly road rage shooting incident in Fayetteville on Monday afternoon, January 3, 2022.

According to the initial reports from local authorities, the incident transpired at approximately 12:31 p.m. in the center of Fayetteville city.

The motorcycle rider and a truck driver were involved in an argument that escalated into a deadly shooting.

The victim was later identified as 35-year-old Stephen A. he was rushed to an area hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Meanwhile, the truck driver was identified as 51-year-old Roger N. He was taken into custody and is charged with first-degree murder.

Local authorities are further investigating the case.
