[01-28-2023] Bicyclist Found Dead Following Suspected Hit-And-Run Collision in FullertonA bicyclist was fatally struck during a suspected hit-and-run collision in Fullerton on Saturday afternoon, January 28, 2023.

According to reports, the fatal crash occurred around 12:30 p.m. on Beach Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue.

Authorities received calls of a possible hit-and-run and discovered a bicyclist on the road.

Deputies performed CPR on the victim before paramedics arrived, but the victim succumbed to their injuries.

There is currently no information indicating whether a passing vehicle didn’t stop, if a landscaping truck rear-ended the bicyclist, or if both factors are at work.

Due to the collision occurring on their side of the city limit, officers took command of the situation.

Beach Boulevard was closed from Rosecrans Avenue to Hawks Point Drive for an unknown time while officers investigated the bicyclist’s death.
