A male pedestrian was pronounced dead after he was hit by two vehicles in Sacramento on Thursday night, February 2, 2023.
Reports confirmed that the deadly crash occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Highway 99, south of Calvin Road.
According to authorities, a man was walking along Highway 99 when he was struck and killed by a car.
When responders arrived, they discovered that the victim had been struck by at least two vehicles.
The male pedestrian was declared dead at the scene. Details on his identity are yet to be released.
Meanwhile, both drivers remained at the scene.
Hours later, lanes were reopened.
