[02-06-2023] Multi-Vehicle Crash on Cajon Pass Resulted in Possible InjuriesAuthorities reported a multi-vehicle collision that resulted in possible injuries in Cajon Pass in San Bernardino County on Monday afternoon, February 06, 2023.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fender bender three-vehicle crash occurred around 2:08 p.m. on the northbound side of Interstate 15 just before the Highway 138 exit.

Responders arrived at the scene and found three vehicles in the center divider and fast lane. A white Toyota Tacoma pickup truck sustained rear-end damage, a red Honda Pilot SUV had both front and rear-end damage, and a gray Acura sedan received front-end damage.

The number of people involved was yet to be determined. Although the CHP traffic log stated that all people involved were okay, details on the extent of possible injuries were not immediately available.

The authorities were still investigating the circumstances leading to the crash. No other information was released at this point.

Two-Vehicle Accident Statistics

A recorded 3,847 individuals were killed in automobile accidents in California in 2020. In 2020, over 8,000 individuals were killed or injured in angle collisions with other vehicles.
