[02-06-2023] Man Struck and Killed by Vehicle in San JoseA male who seemed to be experiencing homelessness was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Jose on Monday evening, February 06, 2023.

According to the San Jose Police Department, the fatal pedestrian crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. near Monterey Highway and Blossom Hill Road.

The man was reportedly walking outside the crosswalk when he got struck by the vehicle whose driver stayed on the scene and was being cooperative. No details on their identities were released.

A road closure in the area was expected due to the crash and motorists were encouraged to use alternate routes.
