[02-07-2023] Humboldt County, CA – Female Driver Hospitalized Following Bus Crash on Highway 101

A bus crash led to one driver sustaining injuries in Humboldt County on Tuesday morning, February 7, 2023.

Reports indicated that the collision transpired around 6:35 a.m. on Highway 101 in Orick at Lundblade Street.

According to authorities, a school bus and a small SUV were involved, and discovered that the female SUV driver was injured.

Responders took the victim to the hospital for further treatment.

Officials called on a tow truck to remove the SUV from the road.

As of 7:53 a.m., traffic was still moving slowly.
