[02-07-2026] Alameda County, CA – Woman Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle in Hayward

A woman believed to be in her 30s or 40s was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Hayward on Saturday morning, February 7, 2026.

According to the Hayward Police Department, the incident occurred at around 6:40 a.m. near the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and B Street.

The woman was taken to a hospital, where she later died from her injuries. Authorities have not released her identity.

Police identified the driver as a 56-year-old Hayward man. Officials stated that he remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. Intoxication was not believed to be a factor in the collision.

The incident remains under investigation.
