A hit-and-run crash led to an unidentified woman’s death in San Jose early Friday morning, February 10, 2023.
According to authorities, the collision transpired around 5:39 a.m. near Morrill Avenue and Knights Bridge Road.
Reports indicated that a vehicle struck the woman and fled the scene.
The victim was transported to a hospital by paramedics but died from her injuries.
Details on the victim’s identity have not been revealed.
The driver and vehicle descriptions were not immediately available.
Officers said this is the third pedestrian death and fifth traffic fatality on San Jose city streets in 2023.
Investigations on the crash are currently underway.
