A DUI collision led to two people being hospitalized in Red Bluff on Sunday night, February 12, 2023.
Authorities confirmed that the crash occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Highway 36W, about a half mile west of Monroe Avenue.
Authorities stated that 54-year-old David B. was driving a 2010 Toyota Corolla east on Highway 36W at about 60-70 mph when 62-year-old Tracy B. was driving a 2017 Audi west at about 45 mph and collided head-on.
Due to the impact, a 14-year-old passenger was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the DUI driver was treated with moderate to severe injuries.
A background check revealed that the suspect driver, Tracy B., had a suspended license for DUI and was on DUI probation.
Investigations into the cause of the collision are ongoing.
