[02-17-2024] Orange County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Stuck Under Vehicle in Santa Ana

A pedestrian was killed after being stuck underneath a vehicle in Santa Ana early Saturday morning, February 17, 2024.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the fatal collision occurred around 4:30 a.m. between Orange Street and Edinger Avenue.

Reports indicate that a driver was heading north when he stopped to check what he had driven over and found the pedestrian trapped underneath.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while the driver stayed to cooperate with the investigation.

The identity of the victim remains unavailable.  Further details on the fatal crash have yet to be released by the authorities.
