[02-19-2023] Unidentified Pedestrian Fatally Hit by Vehicle on Highway 87A pedestrian collision led to the death of one individual in San Jose early Sunday morning, February 19, 2023.

The deadly crash reportedly occurred around 4:50 a.m. south on Highway 87, just south of Curtner Avenue.

Authorities received calls that a vehicle struck a pedestrian pronounced dead at the scene.

Details on the victim’s identity have not been released pending their next of kin notification.

Details about the driver’s possible injuries were not immediately available, though the driver cooperated with investigators.
