[02-23-2023] Multi-Vehicle Collision Involving Bus in Hesperia Injured One DriverOne driver sustained injuries after a multi-vehicle collision in Hesperia on Thursday morning, February 23, 2023.

Reports indicated the crash transpired around 8:13 a.m. along Rock Springs Road.

According to investigations, the Chevrolet was westbound on Rock Springs Road when it entered the number one eastbound lane.

The Chevrolet sideswiped the bus, causing it to collide with multiple chain-link fences and trees in the yards of nearby residents. The Chevrolet ended up in the yard of a nearby house. The debris from the collision caused damage to the Subaru.

One witness stated that she had let the bus merge in front of her when the black Chevrolet in the opposite direction crossed the center lane into their lane, preventing a front-end collision.

Authorities confirmed no passengers were on the bus, and Chevy’s driver was hospitalized. There were no injuries reported by the other parties involved in the collision.
