A 42-year-old man was fatally struck by a vehicle in Rialto early Monday morning, March 2, 2026.
The Rialto Police Department responded to the scene at around 12:01 a.m. at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Eucalyptus Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found the man, a resident of Fontana, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities stated that the victim was crossing outside of a marked crosswalk when the vehicle struck him.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Investigators stated that it does not appear the driver was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of the crash.
No further details have been released as the investigation continues.
