[03-26-2023] Pedestrian Injured After Being Hit by DUI Motorcyclist in Pacific BeachA 25-year-old pedestrian sustained major injuries after being struck by a drunk motorcyclist in San Diego on Sunday morning, March 26, 2023.

According to the San Diego Police Department, the DUI crash occurred early morning at 1:55 a.m. at 4300 Mission Boulevard in the Pacific Beach neighborhood.

The pedestrian was reportedly crossing the street mid-block when the 30-year-old motorcyclist turned from Grand Ave. onto southbound Mission Blvd. and hit the pedestrian.

The unidentified pedestrian was transported to the hospital for treatment after sustaining serious injuries. No updates were released on their current condition.

The rider was detained on suspicion of DUI. No further information was immediately available as the investigation continued.
