What You Need To Do After a Pedestrian Accident

Law enforcement should be notified of the collision, and a report should be filed. During an interview at the scene of an accident, be truthful about what you saw and experienced. Don’t make assumptions about things you don’t understand; be careful with your words. Anxiety and shock following an accident can make victims apologize profusely, even when they are not at fault. An insurance company may take this act of kindness as evidence of your admission of fault and refuse to pay out.
