Three people, including a child, were hit by a Dodge Charger in Central Fresno on Tuesday morning, April 1, 2025.
The Fresno Police Department stated that a girl and her parents were struck while crossing the roadway in Princeton and Angus avenues at around 7:30 a.m.
According to officials, the driver drove into the junction and later informed authorities that the sun obstructed their vision, causing them to strike the pedestrians.
All three victims were transported to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
Police confirmed that the driver remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
An investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
