A pedestrian was struck by a taxi along Hesperia Road in Victorville on Wednesday evening, April 1, 2026.
The crash occurred at around 7:35 p.m., involving a white Toyota Corolla operated by Bell Cab Co.
According to a witness, the male pedestrian was crossing Hesperia Road when the southbound taxi was unable to stop in time and struck him. The condition of the pedestrian has not been released.
The taxi sustained significant damage to its front windshield, which was heavily shattered. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with deputies. No injuries were reported for the driver.
Deputies from the Victorville Police Department responded to the scene, and the incident remains under investigation.
