One unidentified construction worker was killed in an accident in Walnut Creek on Monday morning, April 4, 2022.
The accident happened at approximately 10:00 a.m. on Del Hombre Lane, just east of Pleasant Hill BART Station.
A gravel truck ran over the worker on Del Hombre Lane. The worker was a flagger.
It’s unclear what caused the gravel truck to hit the worker.
The worker was fatally injured in the crash. Unfortunately, he was unable to survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CAL/OSHA is further investigating the cause of the accident.
