What to Do After a DUI Accident
After a car accident, especially one involving a suspected drunk driver, it is imperative to contact the police immediately. You should tell the insurance company and the police exactly what happened without making any assumptions. If the insured person files a claim, the insurance company has the right to use the victim’s innocence and any subsequent attempts at restitution as evidence against them. As a result, refrain from doing so.
